Delete your LiberTea account
You can delete your account yourself, in the LiberTea app or on the web. Here is how, and what happens to your data.
How to delete it
- In the app: open LiberTea, tap You, then Delete account. Enter your password, type DELETE and confirm.
- On the web: log in, open Settings, then the Delete Account tab. Enter your password, type DELETE and confirm.
Signed up with Google or Facebook? You will not be asked for a password.
Before you can delete it
Your LTEA and the players who depend on you come first, so your account can be deleted once:
- it holds no LTEA (withdraw or use it first),
- no LTEA is locked in a Contract or Contest,
- you have no running Contract that you posted or are helping on,
- and you are not in an active Contest, as a player or as its host.
The delete screen tells you exactly what is still open.
What happens next
- You are logged out on every device, and we email you to confirm.
- Your account is deleted 14 days later.
- Changed your mind? Log in before then and nothing is deleted.
What we delete and what we keep
Deleted: your name, email address, username, profile picture, linked PlayStation, Steam, Xbox and EA ids, Google or Facebook sign-in links, and your login sessions.
Kept without your personal details: records of LTEA transactions, transfers, rewards, prizes and participation, for up to 10 years, for accounting and so other players' histories stay complete.
Cannot be deleted by anyone: withdrawals already written to the public blockchain.
